It is Ranveer Singh’s birthday today, and social media is filled with warm wishes! On his special day, Karan Johar announced that he will be directing the actor and Alia Bhatt in an endearing romantic saga that is all about love and family. Titled ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, the film will also have Bollywood heavyweights Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi as part of the ensemble cast.

A source told ETimes that ‘Rocky Aur Rani’ will be a love story between a North Indian boy and a Bengali girl, both staying in Delhi. But the shoot will begin in Mumbai with the cameras ready to roll sometime in August.

With her list of films growing longer each day, our cameras caught an exclusive peek of Alia on the sets of ‘Darlings’. This one saw the actress in full costume, heading to the van in between takes.

Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s cousin Zahan Kapoor is all set to make his Bollywood debut soon. Zahan has bagged his debut film – director Hansal Mehta’s upcoming action thriller film. The proud cousin showered her love and cheered her little brother on in a post that read, “So happy for you darling Zahan.”

Taapsee Pannu is all set to return to Telugu cinema with her latest drama titled ‘Mishan Impossible’. The actress, who made her debut with the Telugu movie ‘Jhummandi Naadam’, will be back for this upcoming venture directed by Swaroop RSJ.

On a positive note, Saira Banu confirmed that Dilip Kumar’s health is improving and urged fans to continue to pray for his recovery. “We are still in hospital and request your prayers and duas so that Insha’Allah he is healthy and discharged soon,” Saira said in a statement.
