‘Shershaah’ star Sidharth Malhotra describes Akshay Kumar as ‘brother’, reveals he is a ‘fan’ of Shah Rukh Khan – Times of India

Sidharth Malhotra, who recently wrapped up the shooting of ‘Mission Majnu’ with Rashmika Mandanna, is enjoying the glorious success of ‘Shershaah’. He was seen sharing the screen space with his rumoured ladylove Kiara Advani. Directed by Vishnu Vardhan, the film released in August on a digital platform.

The audience and critics were all praise for the film and Sidharth’s performance as Captain Vikram Batra. On Thursday morning, the actor conducted an #AskSidharth session on Twitter. His fans were seen asking him quirky questions about ‘Shershaah’, his dog Oscar, his new movie announcement and more!

One of the fans asked him about his favourite song from ‘Shershaah’. The fan wrote, “Which is your fav song from #Shershah ?” Sid replied, “Very Tough to choose.”

Another fan wrote, “19 years from now , I will be super proud to show my kids that I grew up in Sidharth Malhotra‘s ERA” to which the actor replied, “But nothing like being in present.”

Another fan asked, “How is my oscar ?” He said, “Drooling”. On the other hand, he revealed that he will be soon making an announcement about his new film.

When he was asked to describe Akshay Kumar in one word, he replied by saying, “Brother” followed by a heart emoji. He was also asked to describe Shah Rukh Khan in one word, to which he replied, “Fan”. When he was asked about his comfort food, Sid, who hails from Delhi, replied, “Home cooked daal chawal and aloo.”

Earlier in an interview with ETimes, Sidharth was asked if he is expecting a National Award for his performance in ‘Shershaah’, he had said, “That’s so sweet, I am so happy that you think so (smiles). But right now I am just enjoying the fact that people are enjoying my work and the craft. I think it’s one of the most prestigious awards that an actor can receive from the government. I am not really thinking about it as of now, but just really soaking in the love and the appreciation that is coming to the film.”
